that "Drugs" are properly defined somewhere else. Some people would try to
argue that drugs were only those things sold by pharmacutical houses and thus
skirt the clear intent of the rule.
That was pretty much why the veterinary committee
tried to "clarify" it... It was the very problem that is manifested
by this thread--"But gee, it isn't a drug--it is just a plant he ate in the
driveway." Well, just to use yucca as an example--it contains the same
stuff as aspirin. Unfortunately, some have a difficult time with the
concept that a "drug" can grow naturally in the pasture or in the herb garden,
and that it is still illegal under our rules, regardless of its
"naturalness."
