Re: [RC] Endurance trucks - Heidi SmithHeidi, The law in California states that if you are hauling a trailer (travel, horse, utility, etc.) you must keep to 55 MPH. I usually stay at about 60 MPH on the freeways. Carol Yep, that's the "slower" to which I was referring. CA does have that posted just after nearly every other speed limit sign. See my post with regard to conforming to the truckers and not being a road hazard, though. Most times on I-5 from Sacramento to Weed, you will get run over by the truckers if you are under 65, except through the small populated areas. Just life's reality, signs or no signs. And I'd rather be ticketed than in a wreck, given the choice. (I've also noticed that if that's what the truckers are doing, and you're tucked in between them in the right lane, the CHP goes right by you at 80 in the left lane and never bats an eye. If you're passing the truckers, they start to frown.) Heidi =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
