When we got our LQ trailer several years ago we put in an exhaust fan. 
That puppy will move a lot of air and for most nights it is all we need. 
I have an A/C but didn't want to give up the room. We will use the A/C 
when we have electricity but otherwise don't need it. If it's too hot, 
just sit outside and drink beer:-).

A good solar panel is worth it's weight in gold. I can run everything 
off solar and the batteries - including the furnace.
