Is it Synovial fluid? We have a horse with synovial tear, and ti stays 'fluidy". Like an overstretched balloon, good news is after it is drained and healed , it is just cosmetic/though looks terrible. Laurie (I know of 2 horse with bowed tendons thatn vets said would never be sound, that had a year on pasture and returned to being lesson horses (hunters). I'd think of going to the university. Your vet may not be experienced enough. Laurie
