Re: [RC] [RC] [Guest] Aussie Saddles - Laurie DurginI have a Longreach Endurance, I love. Very comfy seat, security in the poleys and deep seat.(saves me in the spins). Rigged english/, stirrup bars, billets.I use a Roma gel girth.I also use wintec webbers instead of the aussie leathers , so I have more leg freedom. It has flat endurance panels that conform well. Also they matched my horses wither tracings,(Down Under Saddlery). Weighs about 16 lb. unrigged.Has like 10 places to attach things. Nice leather. It is a copy of the Syd Hill endurance(very similiar, but about 1/2-1/3 the cost.)If I 'd had the money I'd have gotten a Syd Hill. I have only ridden 4 hours on the trail at a time with it.(Been using it for over a year and half).Sort of a hybrid of english and western to ride in.Little hard to find pads. Aussie pads are a little long , I cut them off and put bilet keepers on them, and add ties to pads , as my horses are sort of broad and round. I use a tacky tack or coolback pads with it. They do suggest you use a thick pad with it.
