Have you changed the fuel filter lately?  This is often the cause of 
gradually decreasing mpg.  It's a good idea to change the filter every 3 
oil changes and buy your fuel at a major truck stop where they do a large 
volume of diesel sales.... Not as many contaminants in the fuel.
