[RC] Ferdinand Slaughtered - Suvut

Yes, here in Kentucky it was on the news and in the papers as soon as it became known.  Bloodhorse Magazine got wind of it and notified Churchill Downs.  It's horrible and so sad that this happened to a Derby winner.  Apparently, two other Derby winners -- Sea Hero and Strike The Gold -- are facing a similar fate over in Turkey.  Trainer Nick Zito and a Thoroughbred organization called "Old Friends" are working with people in Turkey to try and bring these two home when they are no longer used for stud.
