Then the Canada goose family that lives down in the slough decided the tank was just the place to teach their goslings to swim. So now my tank has baby geese paddling around in it and Dakota would be playing Bobbing for Babies if he weren't getting chased away by the gander. Actually, MY guys will drink CLEAN water only when nothing "green" is available. WHY the heck IS that? Aw well, I'm the same way. Given a choice between clean, fresh water....and water with some fermented cactus squeezings, a little lime juice and some extra electrolytes around the rim---hell, I'll take the 'dirty' water anyday.
