[RC] Bald patches on face - Lysane CreeAnyone have this experience - my yearling filly is loosing hair in large patches on her face only. It started small so I thought she had just scraped some hair off. But the two patches are getting bigger, more than two inches long. Where the hair has come off there is smooth skin - doesn't look irritated. She doesn't seem to be rubbing them either. I rubbed one patch last night and some hair was coming off. She has a blaze and a pink nose, so she is prone to sunburn and I put sun block on her nose daily. But most of the bald patches are where she has black skin. Could it be a sunburn?? I hope the hair will grow back in, these bald patches are not very pretty! There is nothing else on her body and nothing that would make her seem photosensitive or that she has eaten a weird plant.... Help!
