Re: [RC] [RC] [RC and GPS watches....... - Nancy MittsLisa,But were you able to watch and see if you "lost" satellites? As long as you're keeping good satellite contact I would expect it to be correct. I just know of trails that have been mileaged with a surveyors wheel & then with a GPS and the GPS shows significantly shorter mileage. (3 miles in 25). That's unacceptable for a sanctioned ride. I desperate to find a way to measure some new trail I'm using without having to walk it on foot!!! Nancy Mitts From: "oddfarm" <jsalas@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> I don't know "how" it works but I drove with mine for a day just to test it when I first got it. The milage was right on. I drove my kids to school, went to the store, went to work. The milage matched the odometer on the truck. The speed sometimes took a few seconds to catch up, but once we were going, it was very acurate. I know someone will come up with, "Well you know, that is not an acurate way to test". Whatever. That is all I have to go by. Lisa Salas, The Odd Farm _________________________________________________________________ Tired of spam?
