Re: [RC] Cool Tips for Riders - Bob & Amber Roberts>Need tips on how to stay cool in hot and humid>weather.? >Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. >Thanks, >Val+Sania+Fly > I live in hot/humid Texas and suffer from the heat. I must from from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and be inside after that. I've tried neck coolers but they don't work well in our humidity. So far, the best thing I have found to help me is a spray bottle filled with ice water that has a hose and spray nozzle attached. I sprayed my horse from the ground to be sure he would be okay with the noise and mist. He was fine, so I attached it to my saddle. I just periodically spray my face and neck and it really does help me. I found the mister bottle at WalMart in the sporting goods section for under $10.
