Re: [RC] Horse won't keep weight on... - A. PerezI had problem with my guy losing weight in the cold winter months, especially when there was snow-cover (seems he burned more calroies digging through the snow to get to the grass). I have been using beet pulp + sweet feed _ corn oil + supplements, and fed as much as he could eat in an hour (all the time I have to wait on him to eat before putting him back in the herd and heading off to work). Last winter, one of the coldest and snowiest in years, I switched to Purina Complete Advantage, a beet-pulp based food. On just that he held his weight beautifully with no added corn-oil. I have been very pleased with it. ________________________________________________ Get your own "800" number Voicemail, fax, email, and a lot more http://www.ureach.com/reg/tag =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
