Re: [RC] Stallions - jspooneHe is a registered Morab. I would never breed unregistered either unless it was for my own personal use. Morab can always breed to Morab regardless of blood percentages. As long as both are registered they won't be able to go outside the allowable percentages. They can also be bred to arabian or morgan as long as it doesn't knock the blood percentages outside the allowable 25/75. He is by a full Morgan sire out of a 50/50 Morab mare so he can be bred to Morabs and arabians but no Morgans. I have several Morab mares that I bought with the intent of breeding them. I think the Morab is a wonderful breed with the best of both parent breeds. If Indy doesn't measure up to very high standards I am setting I won't hesitate to geld him though. After all a good stallion makes a great gelding lol. We'll see how it turns out, so far he has the personality, build, size and breeding I want. I guess I'll find out if he keeps it as he gets older and if he can pass it on consistently!
