I was wondering if anyone still uses a western saddle?? Am I going to be laughed out of camp if I show up with my QH and western saddle?\ Carrie, the ride I attended this past weekend was a new ride with a lot of new people attending--and had LOTS of western saddles. And yes, even a few "oldbies" still ride western as well.... :-) Nope, you won't be laughed out of camp with your QH and your western saddle--"bloom where you are planted." Start with what you have, and you can figure out whether or not you want to change anything as you go along.
