[RC] LD horse age poll - Truman Prevatt

After a recent firefight on ridecamp over racing 4 year olds in LD, Teri put up a poll on the SERA website to try to help us get a handle on the age of horses in LDs. It was open to anyone that signed on the website and was advertised on ridecamp.

It has been up for about a week and it seems all that are going to vote have voted. It also looks like there was no ballot box stuffing here - I know the web site is in FL and that's difficult to believe there was not voter problems but it all looks on the up and up:-).

Anyway the results are:

5 (22 votes) 11.89%
6 (24 votes) 12.97%
7 (18 votes) 9.73%
8+ (105 votes) 56.76%
(Total Votes: 185 )

So it looks like 0ver 90% of the horses ridden in LDs are 5 or over with the biggest block by far 8 and over.
