SnodgrassI was wondering whether their software was sophisticated enough to record the IP of the voter server-side, and then sort through the results to eliminate duplicate IPs. Not perfect for dial-up'ers who can login again, but better than nothing. Hopefully not, because that eliminates all votes but one from users who are behind a proxy or many types of firewalls (very common in business offices and sophisticated home networks) and also eliminates many votes from AOLers (as AOL uses proxies between their dialup users and the Internet), and of course eliminates the votes of all but one on the same dialup Internet service who happen to hit the same modem when they call in. -- Glenda R.
