I got my goldfish at the feedstore (which has started selling minnows, too).
It's cheaper to get the ones marketed as fish bait than to go to Walmart and
get those.  Substantial price difference.

And yes, they did a good job in my troughs -- on mosquitoes and on other
stuff.

A little while ago there a discussion on putting goldfish in stock tanks

to

control pests.  How or where do you get the fish?  Certainly not from the
pet store?  Sorry to be silly but what other pests do they eat and do you
need to do anything other than let them eat mosquitoes?
