I don't know what he did prior to 1985, when all we have are overall mileage totals (he had 5030 miles already at that point) but after that, he ran 4 100's in 1985, 10 in 1986, 9 in 1987, 1 (ROC) in 1988, 2 in 1989, 1 in 1990, and 3 in 1991. He continued to do rides until 1998 and has a career total mileage of 11525. And he tended to run his up front. Kahlil and I did three 100's in 1980, two in 1982, three in 1983 and four in 1984. For a total of 42 in his lifetime. Oh, plus one Race of Champions that was not AERC sanctioned and is not in the records. We were the AERC National 100 Mile Champions in (I believe) 1986. His last 100 at the Land Between the Lakes Classic in 1991 at age 18, he finished First Place and BC, beating the horse/rider team that were that year's AERC National 100 Mile Champions. -- Joe Long jlong@xxxxxxxx http://www.rnbw.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
