[RC] Fwd: Saddles for Sale - sharp penny

 I'm sending this on for a friend of mine. I can vouch
that the saddles are all in excellent condition with very
little miles on them.

Hi all - it's the new year, and time to clean out the

tack room and
disperse all saddles except the one that fits the horse I
am currently
riding.  I have been quite the collector of saddles in
the past 2 years, and
it's time to break that habit!  Prices include shipping.

Genuine Billy Cook Barrel Saddle - see picture at:

Genuine Billy Cook saddle w/ rawhide covered wood tree.

 Very deep-seated
and secure w/ 5" cantle and roughout leather on stirrup
fenders.  Works just
like velcro to keep you in place on those spinning
horses!  Saddle is very
well-made.  Has 15" seat and 5" gullet (if I measured
correctly).  Bought 2
years ago, but have maybe 50 rides, so just getting
broken in.  Normal wear
and tear.  For safety reasons, had to cut off 1" of
stirrup leathers since
they hung down into stirrup area (just like on picture). 
Paid $700, sell
for $375.

Another very deep-seated and secure saddle.  This is

the most comfortable
saddle I have ever ridden in!  Has fiberglass-wrapped
wood tree that comes
with 15-year warranty.  Also, upgraded fittings (same
that are sold with Syd
Hill Saddles).  Bought 1 year ago, and used 6 months. 
Has 15.5" seat, which
is comparable to 15" western, and ~ 5" gullet.  Has horn.
 Will include wool
felt saddle pad that has built-in saddle bags.  Paid
$900, sell for $600.


Abetta Cordura Endurance Saddle w/ Southwestern design

on skirts (sold as
private label at D&D):

15" seat, again seems to have 5" gullet.  Very

light-weight.  Only used a
few times.  Comes with matching neoprene breastcollar,
nylon
headstall/reins.  Paid $375 for package, sell for $175.


If for some reason you could use all three saddles,

I'll sell the whole
package for $1000.
