Re: [RC] Daughters head injury on horse - Lynne GlazerLike you, I had two herniated disks in my neck, made worse by the chiropractor I'd used for 15 years. Guess what? He was not the "right" chiropractor. After an MRI revealed the problem and the orthopedist failed to provide any relief, my soft-tissue injury lawyer (the injury happened from a car accident) recommended a different guy who used a traction-style adjustments. Not only did that work, but I continue to see them once a month and went from having trouble just doing 50s to being able to do multidays. The reason I continue to go there is that I am very active, riding the Rubberband, fitting saddles, traveling a lot--things that are hard on the spine. Each time now there's very little adjustment that has to be done, and the corresponding muscle groups stay nice and pliable instead of knotted in spasms multiple layers deep. Not all chiros are the same.
