[RC] ok tornadoes - firedancefarmsHi, Well I see we are headline news again this am on yahoo news. Thank you all for your concern..the tornadoes are 100 miles west of us, or 70 miles north. As far as I know, all of us endurance riders are all east of the tornado. For the third day, our sky is a consistant light grey, super high humidity, 85-90 degrees, and the wind won't quit howling... Our weather tracking in OK is the best..anyone who wants to be a meterologist just go to OU...they can predict the exact times and locations of the tornado..that is why you see so few people getting hurt, and if you have seen the footage of the destruction you cannot believe more people do not die. Unfortunately we (OK) do lose some horses in these storms...a horse is a hard thing to protect from flying debris and barns being destroyed. I sure hope OK is not in the news again tonight! Well, I am off to pick ticks!
