Re: [RC] tornados - April JohnsonI'm south of Nashville, TN. We had some very strong storms with hail and some rotation high up, but no tornado around our little farm. Today we're dealing with flooding. I'm at home because I can't get a vehicle through our flooded driveway. Might could get the truck out, but with the high winds and rain, I sure don't want to be driving it with the slide-in camper on it. A lot of the worst of the storms were east and north of where we are. We were up during the night Sunday watching the tv and the internet warnings, keeping track of the tornados. But we're ok, here. Never lost power, either. A few times the power flickered out, but came right back on. The horses were very glad to get their dinner last night and seemed fine. They were both running up to eat so no lameness and I checked their bodies for lumps from hail or flying debris and found no problems. I hope other RCers faired as well. Several lost trailer homes and one tornado formed directly over my farm. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
