Re: [RC] Ticks and Horses - Barbara McCraryMy vet says a person can use Kill Tix on horses as well as dogs. You put it on various spots along the back and it's a systemic tick killer. You use more on a horse than on a dog, of course. We also live in the buggy midwest with our fair share of ticks in the woods and such. What do others do for their horses in regards to ticks? Do you do a tick check every day, couple times a week or simply not worry too much about it? Do you use any kind of tick repellent at all and if so what do you use? Am trying to stay with natural repellents if possible, if any exists. Do not like to get that fly spray all over my mare or the overspray on myself for that matter. Already getting buggy in the midwest, Val + Sania (with several tiny patches of yellow crusty stuff deep in the mane and tail where ticks have been) __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
