RE: [RC] advice on 50 milers - Jonni Jewell

We are going to the Biltmore 50 and I was planning on doing the 2 day 100

at Liberty Run and I just realized they are  2 weeks a part.  I plan on a
moderate or even slow pace.  Is this asking to much of him????  Should I do
just one day at Liberty instead of 2.  Need advice!  <<<

The XP2001 had horses doing 50 miles per day, for 2 - 5 days in a row,
depending on the horse and rider combo.(we had a couple rest days between,
usually every 5 days)   One horse did 1650 miles during the 8 weeks we were
on the road. If the horse is fit, and ridden well, I think it should have no
problem doing the above.
