[RC] Bridling Barbara White.. - steve shawBarbara White wrote: (and is this our infamous Barbara White of many Tevis buckles?) And interestingly....Thacher School is in Ojai, CA and is near part of the Cuesta Sespe Trail. Actually there is an entry portal right near the campus that has local parking and leads up to the ridge above the Sespe River gorge. From there it is an interesting ride down to the river and the two different hot springs along the river. Both have been explored and improved by the Pacific Coast Longriders out of SLO. One of the first rules the students learn is = NEVER bridle the horse with the halter fastened around the neck and the = lead rope tied. Better a loose horse than a horse with a broken neck.
