Re: [RC] loin rubbing - Mickie NewnamOne thing for people who are ordering the BM SS, who have short-backed horses. They will shorten them as a custom option. Not sure exactly how; I guess shorten the skirts a bit to lessen the overall length. A woman I know had it done and she and her horse have been very happy with it.Mickie Mike & Kathy Kelly wrote: The loin rubbing Gabriel had from the BM SS was definitely because it was too long! He is very short backed, and the length combined with his way of moving also caused the saddle to be pushed forward, so I had to use a crupper. I now have a Torsion (also "treeless"), which is 6in shorter, and no more loin rubbing! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
