I have boards 135 cm high (=is that 4 feet?), that's the boards I have, and with which I intend to build the round-pen soon. (these very thick very strong wooden panels with metal lining, I bought for peanuts from a concrete block factory. In the manufacturing process of concrete blocks they use those boards as a surfac or stance. After the panel has been used for a few times it is not absolutly straight anymore, and the factory replaces it with a brand new panel. I heard it cost about $100, -for a brand new panel, but second hand I bought them for 10$ each. It will safe me hundreds of dollars in building the round pen and the stables, I started to use those board for everything, build already a dog-house out of them, and a washing floor surface, and soon a mounting block as well.
