I don't know but am interested.I tried "polar proof " by nikwax, was told it waterproofed,nyet. It gives 'waterresistance" according to website, (after I bought 4 bottles:{), but does make fleece, "windblock", water resistant. I read somewhere even goretex has to be "rewaterproofed" over time. Let me know if it works.I have resorted to "tent" waterproofing for rainsheets with some luck. Laurie and Rascal

I received a great present for Christmas and am about to try it out.
It is Hydro Restore cleaner and waterproofer for synthetic fabrics.
Promises to restore waterproofing simply by washing the item in
two steps, then drying it.  Has anyone used this product?  Any
idea of how many light rain sheets I can do at once?  Any tricks to
this?  Will seem wonderful if it works!
