[RC] political posts - A. PerezIf people cannot resist making political posts on ridecamp, I wish they could at least express their opinion without being derogatory toward those holding differing opinions. Opposition to the war is not necessarily a sign of 'weak mindedness' any more then support of the war is due to ingnorance (and an inability to realize that Ossama Bin Ladin from Saddam Hussein= are in fact two different people). Intelligent, informed individuals may come to diametrically opposing views. The appropriate response to that is reason, not insult. Failing that, it is best to respectfully agree to disagree. If you can only defend your opinion by insulting those who think otherwise, you make yourself look the fool, not them. ---------------------- "Unfortunately, it is not in "comic book" form and there are no bright color pictures - so it will be lost on those weak-minded individuals who will always blame America first and wring their hands over the destruction of evil. I'm glad I read it, however. And Godspeed to all those American's in uniform.
