Any properly socialized large dog, pure or mutt. :) There are quite a few breeds bred specifically to be livestock guardians (http://www.lgd.org/). Most of the mastiff breeds would also be good, including Rotties and several rare breeds (non-AKC: http://www.rarebreed.com/). It basically comes down to personal tastes as lots of breeds would fill the roll.
