RE: [RC] Need english saddle pad advice - Snodgrass, BonnieActually, Toklat makes oversized pads too. I have a couple of oversized woolback pads from them. You just need to order from a vendor that will call them and order the right stuff for you. They have two lengths of nap in the woolback fleece also. Another option would be their equalizer inserts in an over sized woolback with the short napped fleece. But remember, the thicker the pad the more likely you are to screww up the saddle fit and cause bridging. Boyd; Ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [RC] Need english saddle pad advice Neoprene pads tend to build up heat and would be hard on a horse for a long distance. What size seat are you riding in? Finding a good, large saddle pad for a larger saddle is difficult. I like the Ventilator pads, which fits my 18" saddle nicely, but will say that I am not an endurance rider (yet).
