Yeah, the first picture is the one I have and about how I have it fitted.I heard it called both an english hackamore and a jumping hackamore(because the shanks are short and wouldn't interfere while jumping, so the theroy goes).The other picture someone sent me to, I think it was Bonnie showed a larger horse and the hackamore was way higher, shanks were at his lips> I don't think I could put it much higher than the picture you gave me, as his face is too short! Thanks for the info. Rascal mom.

Actually, I just made a typo.  A jumping hack is like
a sidepull.  An English hackamore is what you have
(and what I wrote you about privately -- I do think I
called in an English hack, didn't I?).

hackamore at the bottom:

In that photo, you'll see that it's fitted about an
inch above the end of the bone running down the front
of the skull.

This one is fitted a bit lower than I prefer to use
it.  It also looks a bit loose.
