Symbols are: The + appearing after the name means the horse has earned a Legion of Honor (Halter or Performance). The +/ means the horse has earned a Legion of Supreme Honor (lots of performance points but not a lot of halter points). The +// means the horse has earned a Legion of Excellence (lots & lots of performance points and placings at the National level). The ++ means the horse has earned a Legion of Merit. This is points in Halter and Performance. The +++ means the horse has earned a Legion of Supreme Merit -- more Halter & Performance points. The ++++ means the horse has earned the Legion of Masters award. This is points in Halter and Performance and placings at the National level. You will sometimes see two of these combined. Like ++/ which means Legion of Merit AND Legion of Supreme Honor.
