This sounds like your two pointing the trot?
This is common for some and if it works for you and your horses, why not.
There is a fellow competitior in my area (Mountain) that has had total Knee
replacements in both legs and his ankles are fused. He rides this style out of
nessescity the whole ride in 100 milers. He is very successfull and has riden
the same gelding for 10 years. I always thought it looked uncomfortable but
must not as he and you have shown. He also never canters as he physically
cannot two point it but thats when the rest of us (at least I do) usually do
like to as it helps the horse to get off his back in the canter. This is where
my years of race track gallop girl days come back to haunt me.
