Dealing with uneven shoulders has become a pretty common fit issue for
saddles. I have seen lots of horses that have one smaller shoulder,
typically the right one. It makes a saddle fall into that side, putting
pressure against the opposite wither, leaving uneven white marks or only one
mark on the larger shoulder. However, about the diagonals and the rider
posting, not sure that is true all the time. I've seen uneven shoulders on
Pasos where there is no posting going on, and also on young, unbroke horses.
Seems to get worse as the horse is used more, tho.
