We were told this was strangles.

Is that confirmed ?

Can horses that do not show any signs of being sick be carriers and spread
it

My daughter in Orange Co. believes her horse she got it from either their
Casper Park visit or the Malabu ride.  There were no other horses at the
C.Park visit, but horses do come and go there.  They have not left her back
yard since her herd became sick.  That is except the the 2 year old spent
the last 10 plus days in the Vet. Hospital.  Want her bill?
