Another thing (not that I
am an expert or anything) ... if you are going for an experienced, layed back
horse for beginners/kids ... take one along (a green rider that is) ... you ride
the horse, see what you think, and then let the novice rider ride ... sure
helped a friend of mine trying to find a sane mature horse for her novice
husband ...
