Re: [RC] Question on Wintec Pro Endurance - Maureen A. Fager
J. Miller asked "how do you like the Pro Endurance?"
I owned a Wintec Pro Endurance for several years and HATED it. I found it
to be very uncomfortable for me, and I mean real pain!! I think the twist
may have been to narrow for me. A friend of mine also bought one and had
the same problem; terrible pain when riding.
The stirrups put you in a "chair" seat. Also, the saddle is built with long
panels to distribute the weight, but I found this to not be an asset with
short-backed Arabs. The saddle is so light that when the girth is tightened
it would cause the back of the saddle to "wash" back and forth on the loins.
Also, because of the lightness, I had the saddle slip from side to side
several times, and I mean like way over to the side, dangerous. Also,
because of the long panels, it was very difficult to find a saddle pad that
fit.
I finally sold it and have now have a Free & Easy and Big Horn, both of
which I like much, much better that the Wintec Endurance Pro.
The best I can say about it is the material is great to keep clean and they
have a good resale value.
Happy Trails,
Maureen
