Trail conditions (was Re: [RC] Need Bail, quick) - Duncan Fletcher
There are a number of trails that are open to horses that may present
hazards to horses - but that is a relative thing. And some of the hazards
have to do with the state of maintenance - a correctable problem. But if the
FS changes the status from open to closed (as opposed to not recommended
based on current conditions) then we have probably lost the trail forever.
Do not ever suggest that a trail should be closed to horses simply because
of its current condition.

[snip] The forestry does not recommend this trail for horses. Well then,
