Hello, i am curious if i am the only one that has had
AME's?  It first happend on a ride in my back yard on the OD and i left the
check about 50 miles out (Camp Roosevelt on the OD 100) and down the trail
Ballistic started weaving and stumbling and i got off and thought WOW what is
this?  after a few minutes he was back to Normal running circles arround me
and i started riding again and he did it again.  I thought..."you are not
going to die in my back yard" so i turned arround and went back to the Vet Check
and said this horse ain't right.  The Vet looked at him and said he's Fine
go on out.  No way....  he ain't right.  Then he started
stumbling and was ready to crash and the Vet saw it and he came out of it again.
He was pulled w/a RO that was probably M.  Well today i talked w/a friend
who had somewhat the same experience at the Vermont Ride.  I think, but i
do not know that it was ulcers that had been inflamed by electrolytes because it
went away just as quick as it came.  It was strange and scary and baffled
the Vets.  There was never a determination to this AME.  has anyone
else had a similiar experience?  tom sites
