Ridecamp: Re: [RC] [RC] completion awards - Moonlight Madness

Boy, talk about timely.  I'm handling the awards for Big South Fork again 
this year (1st time around was in 2000) & I've been messing with the art 
work (I'm no artist, so I apologize to all riders up front ;-).  The 
company I order from has one of the license plates from 2 years ago hanging 
on their wall -- it greeted me when I walked in this afternoon!

One of the completions awards has already been ordered & the second will be 
ordered by the end of the week (2 days of riding).  I guess I took it as a 
given that the ride name was on the completion award -- I actually like to 
have it embroidered/screen printed on as many items as possible (that's a 
great way to eat up Karen's budget :-o).  It really takes imagination to 
come up with new ideas, especially for multi-day rides -- I did this 2 
years ago & I'm trying not to repeat, I can't imagine how you RMs do it 
year-after-year.

As a side note, my non-horsey spouse's blood really boils when he thinks 
I've gone nuts & ordered all kinds of new stuff -- then he remembers the 
awards :-P  (I guess I shouldn't laugh about that, should I?)
