I just finished my first ride...and it was tough. I never even really thought 
about awards...this was a personal goal I set for me and my horse. When they 
gave me a water bottle I thought that was cool. Didn't expect RM to reward MY 
accomplishment. I took a pic of my horse with his numbers and will probably 
frame it with my map that is all tattered. That will remind me of what the 
ride was about way more than a tee shirt.
BTW I have a wall of ribbons and trophies from horse shows and dog shows. Not 
one of those ever felt as good to receive as that water bottle!
