[RC] B.C.A.A. Complex - Rides 2 Far
I have a tube here from Peak Performance Nutrients called BCAA Complex,
or "Branched Chain Amino Acids" Says it combines Branched Chain Amino
Acids and necessary co-factors in the most complete nourishing formula"
I got it at a ride as a free perk signing up I think. I'm not quite sure
what to do with it (except that I want to empty the syringe and use it in
my icing experiment!) It's a 2 dose syringe with the screw out measuring
ring thingy. But I really do appreciate it when companies give samples
and want to give them a fair trial.
The guaranteed analysis reads:
Magnesium (Min.) 227 mg
Zinc (min) 38 mg
Chromium (Min) 54 mcg
Vitamin B-6 (min) 1,125 mg
L-Valine 8,550 mg
L-Leucine 10,125 mg
L-Isoleucine 3600 mg
L-Glutamine 787 mg
Ingredients: Corn Oil, L-Leucine, L-Valine,L-Isoleucine, Magnesium
Sulfate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, L-Glutamine, Zinc Citate, Lecithin,
Chromium Picolinate, Calcium Silicate, Polysorbate 80, Sorbic Acid
Directions: Administer one serving directly from syringe onto back of
horse's tongue before and after exercise.
So, anybody know anything about this stuff? It tastes awful. Would
probably be better with electrolytes packed in it. :-P I don't know how
anybody is supposed to put paste on the "back" of a horse's tongue. You'd
have to stick your arm in up to the elbow cause it's thick and doesn't
squirt back there like yogurt. How will these ingredients get along with
electrolytes? If I use it during competition will it be too much of
anything? Is it really helpful in any way? If it's just a dose of
vitamins I'll use it and have the syringe empty for my icing experiments.
