Many thanks to all who took the time to respond to my pestering.
I like the IDEA of the treeless saddles to be honest, but... I have minor
scoliosis, and while I've never had one side or the other come up w/ dry
spots on a treed saddle, I'm thinking that may be a major strike against a
treeless design for my own use. But you never know until you try.
Ultimately I'll have to just try serveral saddles and see what happens. The
kicker is I'll have to try it on the 10+ horses I have at my disposal (and
maybe a mule for good measure) and see which will work reasonably well most
of the time... folks with just a few horses to consider are fortunate in
that regard.
