When I used a BP and a steel trailer I made a
second spare tire holder for the trailer and the spare went there. For my
1999 F350 Ford and goose neck I am going to do the same thing. I went to a
junk yard and found that a spare tire holder costs $500 used (if you can find
it) 'cause the Ford dealers buy them to put on new rigs. The factory wants
$600.
That must be one heck of a spare tire
carrier.
