I was reading one of your guy's sites when I came across braided side
pulls/halters. Seeing I can't recall who's site it was I thought I'd ask
every one.
Are these meant to be ridden with, and can you use then as the halter
at tie up locations? Or do they need to be switched back to a normal halter?
I never leave halters on in the pasture so that is not a worry. And are
these halters/bridles better to ride in than say if I snapped my reins to
the side of my horse current nylon halter?
What are peoples experience with this. What head gear does your horse go
in? I've been riding in an English bridle, but just don't like the way it
fits on my horse for long rides,(not that is doesn't fit, just I wish it had
more give and flexibility for his comfort), . I tried a hack but I seem to
have better luck just using a halter, which unfortunately rubs on his nose
and cheeks if used for long distances. So I was thinking maybe the braided
rope halter would be better to ride in. Seeing he seems to like those
better when I'm doing "in halter" type stuff.
Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to be as prepared as
possible,
Alley.
