My old roommie and I were bringing the babies home from summer pasture
year-before-last. The four-year-old was happy to see my gelding and kicked
up her heels in play at him. He turned to avoid getting kicked. I got the
full force of her 00's right below my left knee. Didn't break anything, but
I was on crutches for a month and still have a dent in my leg.
I have been riding next to loose horses all of my life and never had a
problem. No more. I want everybody under control.
Never did get over my uneasiness around this mare, so I sold her to the
roommie.
Maggie Pritchard-walks a little funny when it rains
Ol' Bubba--NOT my fault, Mom
