[RC] New Rig - JOLYNN MAYNARD
Be courageous, don't look for problems but be prepared. Get your truck
and trailer and practice at home to hook and unhook (don't forget to lower
the tail gate). Get the rig in a parking lot, big pasture or field and
practice turning and backing and using your mirrors until you feel
comfortable. Remember that with a gooseneck you have to swing out wider
on turns because they cut corners rather that follow directly behind you
like a bumper pull.
My husband is always there to help at home but never goes with me and I
never have a crew and I personally like to know that I can handle things
alone. Have confidence in your abilities, you can do anything you are
capable of and pulling this trailer is one of the things you are capable
of!
Good luck.
Jolynn
