Well, there's actually not a whole lot about the way we manage horses these
days that really is all that natural. Yogurt won't cause any exceptional
upset to worry about, the small amount of milk product isn't enough to be a
concern. However, live-culture yogurts only contain one, sometimes two
strains of microbials in them, and probably do very little to benefit horse
health and maintain a hindgut microbial population. But no problem if they
like it and you're feeding it as a treat.
