sweeny
Has anyone had experience with a horse with nerve
damage to the supra-scapular nerve...also referred to as a Sweeny? This
particular horse (6 year-old) fell almost 16 months ago...He appears sound but
the muscles which cover the scapula are atrophied. What are the chances at
this late date for the muscle mass to return to normal?? Has anyone
had experience with a surgical procedure which removes a piece of bone over
which the nerve passes thereby relieving pressure on the nerve and resulting in
the restoration of the muscle mass?????? Any chances of him ever doing
endurance??
